The Sri DurgaParameshwari temple is dedicated to Goddess Shree DurgaParameshwari. Bappanadu means Bappa’s village. This temple was constructed by a Muslim merchant named Bappa. The main deity is in the form of a linga or a symbolic statue. One of the special features of this temple is that Muslims are also allowed to visit and accept prasad from the temple.
